Matt Price

Headline Act - MATT PRICE

Resident compère at the Phoenix Comedy Club in Cardiff, Matt Price was born and raised in Cornwall but now lives in London and works throughout the UK at clubs and Universities. Price has a proven ability to adapt to his audience; he can be affable compère, stand-up comic or storyteller, depending on the circumstances. His material mutates to suit the mood of the room and in fact he says that he never does exactly the same set twice; because the gags, the stories and anecdotes are put together on-the-fly with improvisation and interaction with the audience. On occasion, he’s been known to deliver half his set standing in the middle of the crowd!

"A great storyteller" - Leicester Mercury
Mark Felgate

Opening Act - MARK FELGATE

Mark Felgate is a man with unique talents. His startling abilities as a ventriloquist, combined with a wickedly daft sense of humour, have helped him become a well respected act on the stand-up comedy circuit. Performing without a dummy, Mark throws his voice to create side splitting routines on school life, freaking out drunks and pallbearers and the vagaries of censorship. His performances include a slew of silly voices, noises and vocal acrobatics. Mark has appeared many times at the Edinburgh Festival and is also an international performer being booked for shows in Germany, France, Holland, Cyprus and Croatia. Currently you can catch Mark presenting on Nickelodeon, where he fronts a variety of shows.

"He's a great mix of stand-up, silly voices and verbal acrobatics" - Time Out
Alex Marion

Middle Act - ALEX MARION

Alex Marion has been delighting audiences up and down the country, and as far afield as Australia, for many years with his winning blend of social comment, sharp one liners and intricate wordplay. In 2004 Alex disappeared from the scene for 5 years during which he circumnavigated the globe and worked with disadvantaged teenagers in a remote corner of the developing world - South London to be precise. Now he's back, and he's faster, smarter and funnier than ever.

"Intelligent and thought provoking whilst delightfully silly, this is what comedy should look like" - Good Ship Comedy
Tom Goodliffe

MC for the night Tom Goodliffe is known as the big friendly giant of the UK comedy circuit. His winning combination of engaging warmth and smart material has earnt him a reputation as a talented a performer. Half Welshman, half Yorkshireman, all funny Tom stands six foot six and combines towering physical stature with a hugely likeable stage persona. His assured presence provides the perfect platform for delivering a wide range of personal, confessional and observational material. Goodliffe engages any audience with his flair for storytelling, recounting embarrassing family moments and combining such polarised topics as maths and rap music.
