Eddy Brimson

Headline Act - EDDY BRIMSON

Headlining the bill this month is Watford boy EDDY BRIMSON, a familiar face on the international comedy circuit and regular performer at clubs around the world. He boasts an impressive list of TV & film credits including; ABOLUTELY FABULOUS, THE THIN BLUE LINE, HALE & PACE, THE BILL, SILENT WITNESS, CASUALTY and EASTENDERS - where he played a hard-nosed villain who turned over Frank Butcher's car lot! Eddy is a prolific writer, having penned 7 best-selling books. With sales topping 160,000, Eddy has built himself a cult following.

"Quite simply brilliant" - Sky Magazine
Neil McFarlane

Opening Act - NEIL McFARLANE

Our show opener this month is Scottish comedian NEIL MCFARLANE. His material combines wordplay, situationism, topical gags, personal experience and a constantly expanding ability to extemporise and improvise. He reached the Scottish semi-final of the BBC New Comedy Awards in 2001, so technically he has been on the telly (for the few people who had BBC THREE at the time). He's also been on 15 to 1 twice, and has the dubious honour of being the only contestant in the show's history to have been told off by William G. Stewart for slouching. Allow him to gently divert you from the horrific truth of your own existential plight, and to occasionally use the word 'seepage'.

"Apparently one of 12 ‘Posh Glaswegians’, McFarlane has his heart set on slowly conquering England..." - City Life
Chris Norton Walker

Our middle act is Londoner CHRIS NORTON WALKER. A relative newcomer to the comedy scene, Chris is already making a BIG impression. Chris pokes fun at fellow comedians and members of the audience alike, mocking assumptions and challenging notions. He uses himself and his life experiences as a mirror to ridicule stand up comedy and to deconstruct established comedy motifs. He now performs regularly across the country taking his particular brand of one liners, hilarious anecdotes and a commanding stage persona with him. Definitely a name to look out for in the future!

"Sharp & funny… big personality… great stuff! " - Monkey Business Comedy
Dave Thompson

Best known for playing Tinky Winky in the Teletubbies, Dave is an international stand-up comedian and compère known for his brilliant one-liners and somewhat odd persona. Dave plays a semi-regular character in Al Murray's sitcom Time Gentlemen Please and has appeared in several Harry Hill shows. He co-wrote the book ‘Sit Down Comedy’, which was published in August 2003 and also writes for other stand-up comedians and actors (including, apparently, Bruce Forsyth!)

"The best one-liners I've heard this season" - The Independent
