Headline Act - GEOFF WHITING

Geoff launched himself on an unsuspecting public by way of a five-minute open spot in March 1997. Since then he has become established as a popular compère at many of the UK's top comedy clubs. A strong and versatile act, Geoff has also appeared at the Edinburgh Festival and in a whole host of television and radio programming. He also runs a very successful agency scouting new comedy talent and supplying acts for stand-up shows up and down the country. The Independent said, "Geoff Whiting takes the stage with consummate ease and works the audience like a miner at the coal face, digging out nuggets of information to fuel his comedy." With a wealth of experience under his belt, Geoff has quite literally been there, done that, and I suspect, he bought the T-Shirt too!

Opening Act - NAZ OSMANOGLU

Winner of the 'Amused Moose' laugh-off competition and runner-up in 'So You Think You're Funny?', Naz Osmanoglu has hit the London comedy circuit running. Already a fringe veteran with acclaimed, irreverent sketch trio 'WitTank', he is now diverting his angry Anglo-Turkish energy to stand-up as well as sketch comedy. He is a name to remember, however difficult that might be. Very confident, very original and tightly performed.

Middle Act - DIANE SPENCER

Diane Spencer is a Brit by birth, but has been performing stand-up in New Zealand for the last 3 years. She has now returned to England to storm the comedy scene. Funny and original, Diane veers from the eloquent and witty to the brutal and gut-tickling. She has enjoyed worldwide success and was nominated 'Best Female Comedian' in NZ (2009) by the NZ Comedy Guild; Diane is definitely one to watch. She will be performing in Adelaide, Melbourne and NZ comedy festivals in 2010 with her new show 'Lost in the Mouth Specific'. But you get to see it right here in Chesham, without all the unnecessary fuss of travelling to the other side of the world!

Compère - KEVIN SHEPHERD

Kevin moved from his native town of Bognor Regis with a burning ambition to become a successful stand up comic. Once he had conquered his initial fears, he quickly became a regular at many clubs. His friendly face and manic energy are proving successful with all types of audience; however his love of performing means that his mission to entertain the world has only just begun. Shepherd is a charismatic young man with a sharp wit and a cheeky humour which the audience certainly seem to love. Only the faint-hearted or excessively squeamish will fail to warm to such an amiable battering.
